Setting Up a Profile

NSCA is a great program that provides tons of coaches to contact, and help. You can build a profile there that has all your stats, academic info,and soccer footage.

Contacting Coaches

There are three ways to contact a coach: EMAIL, OVER THE PHONE, or IN PERSON.

When you send an email you want to explain why you are passionate or interested in their program and explain who you are as a person. You have to be persistant and different with every email. Leave the link or pdf to your soccer profile or tournament you will be attending.

When talking to a coach over the phone you should have prepared questions about their program ready. Don't forget to ask about the school's academics and job opportunites to find out if the school has your major or expected resources.

Lastly, in person be direct and state who you are and why you are interested in their program. Make sure to ask as many questions as possible and listen. Answer honestly and truthfully.
